Thomas Hankemeier delivers a prestigious speech during the 443rd Dies Natalis of Leiden University

On February 8, Leiden University celebrated its Dies Natalis in the Peiterskerk in Leiden, Netherlands. In line with tradition, two university professors delivered a lecture to celebrate the University’s foundation day.

One of them was Prof. Thomas Hankemeier, work package leader of WP 4, who spoke about ongoing research to use metabolomics to learn from a person’s blood whether they may be at risk of a neurodegenerative disease. Please find the official news release as well as his speech here.
