SysMedPD 3rd Progress Meeting in Leiden
On January 09 and 10, the SysMedPD consortium met for its 3rd Progress Meeting in Leiden, the Netherlands. Thomas Hankemeier, Principal Investigator at Leiden University and Ronan Fleming, Coordinator of SysMedPD welcomed around 35 consortium members at the Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research (LACDR).
38 months into the project, Work Package Leaders were able to present excellent work progress and results achieved to date during the first afternoon of the meeting. The morning of the second day was dedicated to parallel group sessions where partners discussed specific tasks and planned the project activities for the remaining project period.
Based on these discussions, the final part of the meeting was used to agree and decide on necessary revisions to the work plan. This planning was supported by the feed-back from the External Advisory Board, represented by Prof Anthony Lang, Prof Philip Seibler and Prof Anne Grünewald.
SysMedPD partners are now looking forward to continue their work, to jointly publish results and eventually to present the project achievements at the final meeting in Ireland.
