Save the date: 4th International Parkinson’s Disease Symposium

Luxembourg

The 4th International Parkinson’s Disease Symposium is taking a step forward by bridging the gap between fundamental and clinical research towards integrated care and precision medicine. To this end, the innovative session design used in the precedent editions has been maintained to maximise integration of research results across the traditional research fields: each session will integrate speakers coming from fundamental, translational and clinical research as well as one young researcher.

The two days conference will be organised in six sessions and will address key topics such as “Genetics in Parkinson’s disease”, “New strategies to prevent neurodegeneration”, “Smart devices and sensor-based technologies”, “Multidisciplinary approach to PD care”. On the second conference day, SysMedPD coordinator Dr Ronan Fleming will give a presentation on the topic “Is Parkinson's disease ready for precision medicine?”.

The complete agenda can be found on the conference website.
