INBC 2017: International Conference on Neurology and Brain Disorders

Valencia, Spain

The International Conference on Neurology and Brain Disorders (INBC) will take place from June 26-28, 2017 and provides an excellent opportunity for researchers, young scientists, academicians, and industrialists to meet and discuss current topics in the field of Neurology and Brain Disorders.

The scientific program is composed of a series of talks, poster presentations, workshops, discussions and networking events, and will keep participants engaged in learning and making new connections at this three-day event. Among other topics, the scientific sessions will focus on neurodegenerative disorders, including Parkinson’s disease.

SysMedPD is represented by two members of the consortium: Dr. Niall Finnerty, Principal Investigator and Work Package Leader of WP3, will attend the conference and will give a presentation on “Continuous real-time monitoring of brain extracellular fluid using microamperometric sensors and their application in a humanized mouse model of Parkinson’s disease”. Further, SysMedPD team member Caroline Reid will give a poster presentation entitled “In vivo characterisation of microamperometric sensors in the brain extracellular fluid of immunocompromised mice”.

An abstract of the presentation as well as the complete programme can be found on the conference website.
