21st International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders

Vancouver, Canada

On June 4-8, 2017, the 21st International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders will take place in Vancouver, Canada. The conference is organized by the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS), a professional society of clinicians, scientists, and healthcare professionals who are interested in Parkinson’s disease, related neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental disorders, and abnormalities in muscle tone and motor control. Among other topics, conference sessions will focus on the latest developments in Movement Disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, and ataxia.

Christine Klein, Principal Investigator and Work Package Leader of WP1, will be Chair of the Congress Scientific Program Committee and will also chair a teaching session on “Classification, Pathogenesis, and Management of Dystonia”.
